  • New carry pistol

I've carried a glock 27 now for years. The good is that it's a subcompact which makes it lightweight and easy to conceal. It's also very reliable. The bad is that it's a subcompact. :) Shorter sight radius making it less accurate and the clip only holds 9 rounds.

I did a lot of research and ended up with the Sig Sauer P226 Legion. The Legion model has many upgrades to the standard P226. Got it home and put 100 rounds through it. So far I definitely love this gun. I can group my shots much more accurately than my glock 27. It is a bit larger making it a little tougher to conceal. It's also a very reliable gun and the clip holds 15.

Nice! I've always wanted a Sig. Well made, reliable, and they just look good. I'm sure I'll eventually get one but I want one in .45. Is .45 the p229? Anyway they have those modular ones too where you can change the frame and shit. Cool stuff.

They make a Legion in the p229 but not a .45. They offer 9mm, .357, .40. They are slightly smaller. Almost bought one but it wasn't much larger than my glock 27.

Nice pistol, what caliber did you end up getting, pic wont open for me. If you're looking for a good inside the waistband holster, take a look at the cross bread super tucks and minotaur holsters. both excellent quality, horse hide leather, very comfortable.

Yeah, the leather and kydex hybrids are great. I've got a comp-tac mtac and I love it. Super comfortable and very adjustable.

Love the way a Sig shoots and I'm ok with a Da/Sa trigger. The weight though.......

I have a buddy that owns a smith shop and makes some of the nicest kydex IWB holsters I have ever seen. If interested let me know and I'll pm you his website.

I ended up going with the 9mm. Less recoil and more rounds in the clip.

I've been playing around with a lot of holsters for it. I just sent back the alien gear holster. It was too bulky. I use the sticky holster for non dress clothes but still searching for a good tuckable one. I heard a lot about the cross bread I may give that a shot. Thanks man!

I have an inner waist band cross breed for my XD. have had it for years..good holster. problem with inner waist band holsters is you have to have bigger pants n a good belt or they are uncomfortable. I also have a standard paddle holster I use as well. I think its a black hawk..nothing special.

Crossbreed makes a good one, but many copy cats make the same design for half price. Ive owned a crossbreed and a "copy", I didn't see what the crossbreed was $50 more.

Comp tac are tuckable too btw. They've been in the game just as long,if not longer than crossbreed. Check out the c-tac for less bulky, m-tac for more comfort. You literally have 25 different positions you can angle the cant or depth to.

I've tried a couple tuckable holsters. I just don't see how any will not print. I wear fitted dress clothes. The only way I have been successful at it is wearing a band around the midsection. I can then conceal it but if I ever need to draw, it will take me longer.
