Yeah I've been watching it all and there are better pictures than that.

As I've said on here before, what a lot of people didn't realise when they used to see him so heavy is that he had to force fees himself extremely high calorie dense food to keep his bodyweight up.

So losing the weight is easy for a guy like that

You can even tell he's happier, big ass grin:D good for him. I wonder how much strength he's lost or if any.

That's dedication to his craft if I've ever seen it.

Here's my question. Did all that fat really help him? If so how can Marius Pudzianowski domination for those 3-4 years be explained? Dude was a WSM who look like a bodybuilder.

I wanna know if he is any weaker now compared to when he was a blimp.

Yet he completely dominated the WSM series for 5-6 years. I think you need to explain a bit more. LoL

The weights were nothing by today's standards

Ok but if Marius was in his prime right now with current advances in training, technique, etc.. it's safe to assume he'd be right there. Let's not forget Marius beat Savickas on more then a few occasions if I'm not mistaken. Savickas improved and Marius retired but I don't think you can say without a doubt that if Marius was in his prime right now that he wouldn't be WSM champ with a set of abs..

Id love to see Savickas compete in WSM in his prime at the leaner weight to see how he compares to his fatter self in competition.

Listen, in the WSM, when the organisers sent out the event agenda to athletes detailing how much the weights were to increase to that year, pudgy shat himself and retired.

He had every opportunity to step it up like the others but his best deadlift was 7 hundred and something, no way could he have log pressed 500 lbs or what ever savickas does, never had the potential to farmers walk what they went in to.

When the weighs were moderate he was fast but when the weights became heavy he was out of there.

I'm right with every angle of the dangle here

Ahh I see. So your saying they sort of changed the rules from a sort of "walking fast with weights" to a more raw power type event?

Not arguing, more just interested in how it all worked with Marius and how he was so dominant for those years while looking so different from everyone else.
