I got a Chevy too and only recently had problems 95k miles never changed trans fluid or diff fluid. Plus I beat the piss out of it. The only think I do religiously is change the oil on it every 3k miles and I use Royal Purple. So it depends.

Man that sucks big time. Definitely some bad luck with his trucks. What's the dealership doing? New motor? New truck?

F-250 or F-350 if you were a real alpha fella.

F-150 carries groceries and some twigs. faggot

It's big enough to run you ass over and flatten you out. Don't you drive a little designer car like a prius or a yellow vw bug?

I have a Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi - Just hit 45K miles. I love it but follow the maintenance schedule to a T. Already did the plugs, front and rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid, oil every 4K.

Not directly related, but my ST only says replace oil every 7.5K or something like that. I have been replacing it every 5K. No other maintenance until 80K or something like that. I've checked the manual a couple of times. I keep getting emails from the dealer for 20K maintenance, blah, blah, but I am ignoring them as there is no 20K routine maintenance listed in the manual.

MOST cars these days go to 10K miles, and some 15K before oil changes now. Both of our Jeeps is at 10K miles, approaching soon too!

That right. My point however, is that unlike my other car which is about 14 years old, this one does not have ANY other maintenance required other than oil changes unitl something like 80K or 100K.
