  • Yet you put out an impression that let me say this..."white" people didn't have the same fears and questions of an Obama presidency? really.. Bill Ayres in the white house..Known terrorist.. should I go on? Your buddy OBama had the same shit buddy...had racist folks in charge..but that was all good...Now its over you cant go crying..

The Regulatory Czar – Cass Sunstein

Sunstein was nominated and approved to be Obama’s “Regulatory Czar.” He supports massive gun control and doesn’t believe the 2nd Amendment is an individual right. He has straight out said, “We ought to ban hunting.” While this fruitcake strips Americans of their Constitutional right to own guns, he wants to give rights to animals and has argued that “Animals should be permitted to bring suit…” Naturally, he also supports the “Fairness Doctrine,” the wrongly-named concept which allows the government to regulate the airwaves.

    Climate Czar – Todd Stern

Stern, a veteran of the Clinton administration, was the U.S. negotiator at the Kyoto conference in 1997 (which called for dramatic climate change regulations based on bogus assumptions.) Had the treaty been implemented, it would have plunged the world into economic chaos.

    Science Czar – John Holdren

In his book, Holdren advocates some of the most bizarre and horrifying policy stances imaginable. In the event of a “over-population crises,” Holdren supports “laws requiring compulsory abortion,” government confiscation of new born babies, the “development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin,” and, incredibly, “adding a sterilant to drinking water or stable foods….” as long a livestock would not be affected (as experimentally implemented in India). Holdren wants the government to dictate family size and advocate a “planetary regime,” run by the United Nations. This real life Dr. Frankenstein will be deciding science policy for the United States of America.

Chief Diversity Officer, Federal Communications Commission – Mark Lloyd

Like many of Obama’s appointees, Lloyd worked for George Soros, the foreign billionaire who funds anti-America groups. He seems to be enamored with dictators and has even publicly praised Venezuelan Communist dictator Hugo Chavez’s “incredible…democratic revolution.” He also wants to use the Fairness Doctrine to “balance” talk radio and believes there are too many white people in the media. He has written that unless there are “more people of color, gays and other people…we will not change the problem.” One of his solutions to “balance” the media is to fine conservative radio stations up to $250 million and give the proceeds to National Public Radio. Get ready for censorship like America has never seen before.

    Attorney General – Eric Holder
Like most of Obama’s appointees, Holder is a member of the American Constitution Society, a ACLU-type group dedicated to destroying much the Constitution in order to make it “relevant” to the modern world. And as with many Obama’s appointees, he is obsessed with race, even to the point of refusing to pursue the prosecution of two Black Panther thugs who intimidated white voters at a polling place. The thugs were screaming things at the voters such as, “You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.” If whites had harassing blacks at a polling place, they would still be sitting in a jail within days. Nevertheless, Holder apparently doesn’t mind undermining the democratic process.

Shall I continue? Scrum...as you can clearly see..Obama brung in a lot of baggage too.. just give the racisim crap a rest talk policy...fine..Im all over it..

Again, the main reason Trump won was because working class white voters in WI, MI, etc. were concerned about stagnating incomes and their long term job and standard of living prospects. Trump came along and soothed their concerns while the Democrats ignored it. Boom, game over.

But the same concerns that I talk about above, also stokes a need for scapegoats. The alt-right movement has thrived on this, and Trump has chosen to benefit from it and even stoke it mildly (or at the very least, choose not to repudiate it).
Honestly Trump BARELY won. Right now, with votes still being counted, Hillary has a 700k vote lead and they expect that to go over 1 MILLION after all votes are counted. She lost WI, MI, and PA by a combined 107k votes. Around a hundred thousand people in those 3 states would have made the difference and Hillary would have won.

This election was extremely close. The thing I'd be worred about if I were the GOP is that for the most part it looks like millenial Bernie supporters either stayed home or voted for a 3rd party. Get that group energized in 4 years with someone like Bernie or Bernie for that matter and you have another beat down like we saw in 2008. I, however am not a fan of Bernie. I'm a more moderate democrat and don't like Bernie's extreme left views/socialism mindset.

        • Rip, I am trying to wrap my head around what you are saying and I want to make sure I understand.

Are you suggesting that appointing a white supremacist to a position of power in the WH is no different from appointing a guy who may have strong views on climate change or the 2A? That white nationalism is just another policy position whose merits can be discussed and argued about?

          • The Dems will lose again if they don't get the progressives back into the fold, and appeal to the WWC. They need to make some fundamental changes to their leadership, get rid of establishment fat cats and bring in some new blood.

Im not a huge supporter of trump... I just hope he does get America back to work and prosperous again.. and yes Id like a border secured. That don't make me racist!! It makes me want America first. All people are welcome..just come here the right fucking way..what is so damn wrong with that? but Again...racism Is a two way fucking street..its not one way like your implying. Lets see how the policy's what ever they may be come to light and then we can see what happens...good or bad. • Scrum, you're debating with a white near baby boomer aged guy who grew up and lives in the deep south. Ripper probably had 90+% whites in his entire childhood classrooms. All of his teachers were probably white, he hasn't been around many people of color in his life most likely. It's clear his views will be different from yours.... like the comedian Bill Burr says, "what do you think he thinks?"

Think about his life experience and you'll see where he gets his views. They aren't right or wrong, but it's clear where they come from. We are all molded by our life experiences. If Ripper went on a 3 year trip around the world, backpacked, lived with poor Indians in Deli, hung out on the beach in Thailand and fished with the locals, spent time in the mountains in Tibet with the Buddhists, drank Ayahuasca in Peru with the local shaman's, protected innocent Mexican women from the cartel's in Mexico, went on a medical AIDS mission to an African village and volunteered in Haiti after the earthquake he would probably have a much much much different stance of some of this stuff you two are discussion, once again not right or wrong, just different.

Look at someone's life experience and then you'll be less surprised/appalled by their views and beliefs and vice versa (Same applies to you, you probably haven't spent much time with whites in the south so your view on them is most likely biased).

                  • He's an army guy and has seen other parts of the world, so it would be inappropriate for me to assume anything about anybody without knowing them. And I honestly don't. That would be displaying precisely the behavior I claim I despise.

Look, I am not suggesting anyone here is racist. I don't know anyone personally and other than 1 or 2 exceptions, I don't even know anyone's real first name, leave alone any other details about them.

But I do expect better from the President, especially one who has come out and said that he wants to bridge the gap after a divisive campaign and be a President for everyone.

I'm not talking about ripper specifically, I'm using him as an example of the type of people Scrum is profiling and I'd bet Ripper's childhood was mostly white experience regardless of where he grew up. Where did he grow up by the way?

The point stands though. I didn't grow up in the south either but my classrooms and teachers were 90+% white and my grandparents were racist, but I never held that against them because I know the environment and times they grew up in.

Forget Ripper. Let's talk about a white guy who was born and raised in Kentucky who has never left the country or his home state for that matter. What do you think he thinks?

I work with a lot of Indians and Muslims on H1-B visas here in Silicon Valley. I have a good idea what they think about me, even though they don't even know me. This is human nature.

I am suggesting there are people here who are racist. I think most people are racist whether they admit it or not or even realize it or not. I think deep down most of us are inherently racist, some more than others but we all have it. People have been racist throughout human history, dating back what millions of years? I don't think it can be bred out of us overnight. Slavery ended less than 100 years ago.

What do you mean, "you people"? I thought I was being pretty balanced here and somewhat defending you against Scrum. Read it again.

Any New York? Come on man, Upstate New York maybe? Tell me about your graduating high school class, how many people of color?
