The Star Wars effect.

The one released last year was a good movie. It was basically the same exact plot as one of the original trilogies, just updated with new faces. It is a hype machine franchise. I'm sure it is a good movie that is fun to watch in the theater, but most people won't rewatch it, it won't stay on your mind, etc.

I agree i dont really care for the Force Awakens. It was a Disney kids movie IMO.
best of the series this is why they did away with the corny/cheesy dialog (ive seen them all recently bc or my nephew fucking dialog is awful at times), dated weird charaters, the long draw out boring love scenes, didnt follow the same typical George Lucas format. He stated he loved it and always wanted to do a movie like that.

I think you could appreciate this movie being a Star Wars fan or not.

Exactly, everyone was making that one with the black fella out to be such an amazing movie so as I was watching it I kept thinking.. "well i guess it gets better in the next 15 minutes or so".. unfortunately I did that right up until the end of the movie. it was absolute crap.
