  • Forum & Tapatalk Updates

Tech master bouncer is on the case. I'll be updating the tapatalk app today and we are also switching from http to https which just means the site will be much more secure and ranked higher in google. It's a win win. I have some help with the HTTPS thing but the tapatalk thing I'm doing myself. So if it doesn't work for a bit no worries, I'll get this turd up and running.

Yea yours worked but other people's didn't. Just needed to be updated. I put it off because I thought it was a tedious pain in the ass to upgrade but it turned out pretty simple.

Getting the SSL certificate and https and all that shit to work properly is a different story though. Was working on that shit for 10 hours today. Had to be done though. Come Jan 17th Google will start ranking non-https sites lower and all the different browsers will start warning of insecure sites. Even apps in the Apple store and Google store won't work anymore on basic http sites. So I had no choice, had to upgrade and make the site more secure. Still some things to get ironed out but I got about 80% of it done today.

That may explain why I kept getting pop ups and told I was on an unsecure site and it was redirecting me to a google app for anti virus saying I needed to down load to protect my device. Funny because it was only happening for this site, so I knew it was bullshit I just deleted everything thinking it was malware or something.

You know when I was using chrome beta on my phone I never had that but as soon as I used the regular chrome browser I also got the same thing. It only happened after I go into a thread and as soon as I touch the screen it would pop up and vibrate the phone and shit. Only on this site for me as well.

Is it still happening? When was the last time it happened?

I'm unable to see any new notifications. This is the only reason I post. I need to see if people like what I have to say. Fix this ASAP!! :D
