yea that snow pack supplies us with summer water as the snow melts in the mountains. plus we got more rain coming in a few days which means snow for the mountains. definitely a much better situation then it was when I moved out here. the question is, will it last? once the rainy season ends we literally don't even see so much as a cloud for 5-6 months. every single day is just pure 100% sun and during the summer months those days get up above 100 degrees for something like 60 days straight. so if these type of winters don't continue we will quickly be right back into a drought.

Yeah hopefully with near record levels of snow pack it will keep things going for a few years and maybe things will normalize.

Nope. It's as good as it gets. If money wasn't a concern, you can't do much better than SD.

My brother lives in Norcal. He said moving out to the California was one of the best decisions he ever made. Loves it over there.
