At exactly half of my age I listen to one person's advice and it changed my entire life. (Nothing illegal) I would tell my young self not to listen to her and go get it done.
I know for a fact nothing would be the same. That includes my kids. Lol
I would need to go back farther than that, but I would have gone with my 1st instinct and gone to med school. I had admission to med school but decided to go to engineering school instead.
Even now, I sometimes feel like I should quit my job and go back to med school, but at 50, I'm really pushing the limit on that option.
I would practice for free 3 days a week. Walk in and be seen.
Yeah it was rough thinking back. I knew everybody around and I was a sales rep for a local beer distributor so throwing promotions at night was my life for many years. I honestly believe meeting my wife saved my life. lol
Mr I. What would you tell yourself when it comes to training? I'm thinking of course about your injuries. Would you change anything?
The injury I had was a result if a natural asymmetry but it was exacerbated by not focusing on my body and how it felt and yes when I was going through shit in my life and not eating right or sleeping I should gave backed off.
This should be right around the time I wrecked my first car so I'd tell myself to take a different direction to school, then to invest some of that damn money you're making into a good mutual fund.
Just not getting hung up on chasing girls and trying to fuck everything that moved. I was a good student and I put in zero effort. I should have put more effort into school
