CINCINNATI - A 400-pound black man died after being struck repeatedly by police wielding metal nightsticks, and the mayor said Monday a videotape showed that the officers were defending themselves.

Nobody really knows the whole story yet, but if a 400lb man (white or black) attacked me, I'd beat the shit out of him too. He was apparently passed out in the grass before they got there so he was more than likely wasted from something. So he may have died from an overdose or the beating or the combo. Yes there are corrupt cops (that's for damned sure) but there are also people who instantly play the race card when shit like this happens as well (Rodney King).

This can go either way,one one hand that 400 black dude shouldn't have provoked those officers and on the other hand the officers should have handled this a lot better then that.

Yeah it's really hard to tell right now. You can't start drawing any conclusions when the media posts something. If the cops are guilty of beating an innocent man to death...fry em'. If the fat man is guilty of violently attacking the cops, fuck it...kill em'. :D

First Im pretty sure that is not the whole video. From what I have heard and read the whole video justifies the the beating. Second if the guy would never have put up a fight we would not even be talking about this. True there are corrupt cops out there but Imagine waling in a good cops shoes when a 400 pound guy comes at you. I would have just shot the guy. There is a case in my hometown that happended about 3 weeks ago. An officer and crook fell off of a 20 ft wall. Neither was able to run but the crook proceeded to kick the cop repetedly in the face. Upon arriveing the video show police cuff the guy and pick him up by the head/throat and carry him off. hey are now accused of brutality. It is getting to were there is more protection for the criminal than cop.
