(CNN)The United States and North Korea are set for a "head-on collision" with neither side willing to give way, China's top diplomat has warned.

In a week of heightened tensions in the region, Foreign Minister Wang Yi cautioned the US in unusually frank language against the deployment of a controversial missile defense system in South Korea. The system is vehemently opposed by China.

But he also had strong words for North Korea, saying Pyonyang should suspend its nuclear weapons program.

Yea with South Korean president getting impeached today I can see North Korea trying to take advantage of the situation to kick them while there down so to speak.

north korea needs no trolling. lol. they are launching missiles like crazy one of which landed only 150 miles from the Japanese coast. even china has changed its stance with them by cutting coal trade.

We do not need S Korea's help to take the North. We already have bases there (been there and done that)so bringing in the troops would not be an issue. We would destroy those fuckers quicker than what we did in Desert Storm. They serve their master out of fear
