You know, America dropped 26,171 bombs in the Middle East in 2016. Twenty six thousand. Just wrap your head around that for a minute. Even if these so called smart bombs were 90% accurate, and we know they are nowhere close to that, more than 2600 bombs fell on civilians. Do we even know how many civilians died the as a result, leave alone feel a pang of guilt or remorse for their deaths? Is it any surprise then that some of the bereaved survivors swear revenge against the West?

Don't get me wrong, the deaths in London were tragic, as were the ones in Brussels, Paris, etc. but we Westerners need to stop viewing these acts divorced from the violence we stoke in the Middle East.

Scrum won't agree but I sort of do. I know there are good Muslims that just want to live their lives. But the extreme version is growing rapidly. Scrum would say that's because of what the west has done. I'd probably agree. Regardless, I admit of all the religions, Islam is the one I dislike most. I don't believe Islam is compatible with the west.
