What has the far right got to do with the London attack? Shall we talk about the antibiotic resistance problem as well? That's a scary issue itself.

Weird.Originally posted by Chadd77 View PostScrum, it really does seem like you're trying to defend the Muslim extremist population. Don't take this the wrong way bexause I'm not talking about the extremists but do you have family that is Muslim?
I think that I have said multiple times even in this thread that I find the attacks tragic and the attackers reprehensible. But I'm not going to extend that to vilify the entire muslim population. As if they somehow owe responsibility for the actions of one guy.
And not that it matters, but no, I don't have any muslim relatives.

Did I ever ask you to extend your condemnation to the whole Muslim population? No. You have a flair for the dramatic just like ole bounce.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostWeird.

Your error is making statements like "extremists can be rational people" and shit to that effect. It comes across as apologetic and sympathetic towards extremists.

I guess I don't understand what the suggestion that I am being an apologist for Muslim extremists is supposed to mean.
I said that the attacks were reprehensible and do not belong in a civilized society and they are ultimately irrational and self defeating. Evidently that wasn't enough.
So tell me, what litmus test should I pass to convince you that I am not an apologist for Muslim extremism?

By the way, yesterday, we bombed a bunch of houses in Mosul and buried 130 people under the rubble.
While the bouquets are being laid outside Parliament in London and the candlelight vigils take place (all in deserved memory of those people who did not deserve to die), hundreds of nameless, faceless, souls were snuffed out from 20,000 feet. But hey, whose keeping track? Causalities of a war machine that must be fed.

why imply they are rational? why make a point about them flying across the ocean to attack? you condemn but you also defend. i'm just telling you how it comes across. i don't actually think you are any such thing.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostI guess I don't understand what the suggestion that I am being an apologist for Muslim extremists is supposed to mean.

Disagree once again. Why does a serial killer kill? What kind of rational sense does it make?Originally posted by Scrumhalf View Post
What I said was that if you take away any possible reasons for them attacking, they are not so irrational that they will attack anyway. That does not make any sense.
The average Muslim has a right to be angry but the average Muslim is not an extremist. They are rational people.
Once again you somehow fail to see the difference. An extremist does not think with a rational mind.

No I wouldn't support that. I can't say that I have a real world solution to be honest.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostOK, fine. Extremists are irrational and will always attack others, no matter what.
So, what do you propose we do? Kick out all Muslims? Kick out all non-Europeans?
