I think its more of an illusion at first. I mean, look at most young couple, they are all in "love" then break up. Then find someone else then back in "love" and so on.
I think real love occurs after a few years together
maybe... but sometimes it just clicks right on from the start..... and everything goes perfectly...

I have experienced both the illusion and the reality. And to really confuse -
If the illusion of love is so powerful - what then is reality? When your senses are dulled beyond the thought of your partner, when your heart races, when they smile and you remember nothing else....then my friends, who can say that your illusion isn't in fact love?
I will agree though, that sometimes, a very rare few will experience complete love. And if you have to ask what that feels like, you haven't yet.

I feel there is no illusion in love. Enfatuation causes illusions and hopes for love. Next to adreniline the most powerful emotion is the feeling of completeness. Filling that void at no matter what cost can create false hopes of love, which we hold onto whether it's true love or the hope of it turning into true love...
