the ratings increase that networks get during war says otherwise. i think average people on some level like war or at least like to watch it from a distance. i remember being a little kid watching the gulf war on CNN and i distinctly remember being excited by it. of course as kid i didn't really understand but it still goes to show that it can have a certain level of influence over people.

All of them are the textbook definition of REMFs. The people who hate war are those who have fought it, or are well read and educated enough to understand what it means.

we all have enough firepower to erase civilization entirely. none of the big guys will go toe to toe.

and russia and china would both get it right back. this is no patriotism bullshit here but make no mistake brother, our military is the most powerful fighting force the world has ever seen.

i think people forget that because we fuck around in decade long wars that have no conclusion. but by every measurable statistic, no military on earth even comes close. you would see that truth if there was ever a toe to toe battle.
