Melvin was addicted to Nubian & GHB back in the day.
This is a progression for Melvin and very predictable with this kind of outcome.
Melvin had a trouble Past as a kid and it followed him into adult hood with lack of direction, 2 divorces and legal problems not too mention financial ones too.
We trained together briefly but he grew envious and began to have the singular goal of Beating me which strained our relationship and put distance between our interaction.
He then moved to Venice beach and his demons revealed themselves to him once again living there incorporating recreational drugs into his regime.
Melvin for as good as he was a bodybuilder always felt they were out to get him because he was Black. Never figured out who they were but now we know.
He was trying for awhile being reborn Christian but fell into a different ideology that lead him to this end.
Talented yet played the Victim most of the time.
I worked Melvin for 2 years at VYO Tech Nutritionals and it was very hard for him to grasp the idea of Work for Sponsorship Dollars. We did my muscle camp together in Vegas & S Africa early in his career but the one thing that stood out was an underlying grudge that didn't exist with me but dogged his career about having a Fair & Unbiased opportunity to Compete and be compared with the best. It was always Racial with him.
This ending was one a lot of us predicted but didn't want to see happen.Comment
