Just checking to see if anyone on here has had thyroid cancer? my wife's right thyroid is 5cm and the needle biopsy came back suspicious but they wont fully know until they remove it and she's scared as hell. We been told suspicious means its cancer but they don't have enough proof to say its cancer. She's getting both of them removed because if the first one comes back as cancer then their going to want n remove the other because it has a few cyst in it as well. She's 40 and has never had any surgery so She definitely doesn't want two surgeries. I don't know of anyone who has ben through this so that's why I'm asking.

Hey thanks a lot guy's. She actually spoke to two girls on face book who has been through it and they both say after the surgery it may take a few weeks to get her thyroid meds right but once they get it right it should be smooth sailing. We hope. lol thanks again for the wishes.Comment
