If my bond is $5000 they pay it for me, if I show up to court, they get that money back?? Then what? Send me a bill for their fees?

It's 10% of the bond, that's our fee. Person doesn't go to court, then you're found and put back In jail. We get money back. It isn't actual money, but security bonds. We have insurance companies who "BOND" us. However, if a bonds man or company has or gets a bad track record, they will drop you just like a regular insurance company would and then you have to get a new one. It's never happened to us.

You'd have to run a shit business for that to happen. It can be a shit business, but if you align yourself right, be ethical and such, the business is great and rewarding for sure.

Again, this just doesn't read or seem right. More to it than just what the media is portraying.

That 10% of your bond is paid before you're bonded out, by friends, family, etc...collateral usually is key
