gonna sit on it for a few days. We went run a few dealers. Got some pricing down. Will check out Craigslist like beast said. Just don't want a bike that's been dropped. It is so easy to fix them, but very bad for the frame once it's been dropped.
Just buy some frame sliders... Although I never had em.. wouldn't make a difference when the bike flips over on you....its more risky riding in packs..more of an ego thing per say..

I'd love a bike. I just don't trust other drivers. Maybe if I lived in the country. But anywhere with traffic a minor fender bender in a car can turn into to something much worse for you if your on a bike. Doesn't matter how good a rider you are, you're putting your life in every idiots hands that's driving on the road. It's basic physics. Anyone in the average 2 ton car will win the battle between them and the bike every single time. They won't have a scratch on them and you will most likely have several injuries. For that reason it's not worth it to me.

Die falling off a bed would make you an idiot. I'm talking about putting your life in the hands of every kid on social media while their driving etc..

It's not about getting hurt on a bike. It's a matter of trusting everyone on the road with your life that I have a problem with. I trust nobody.

Your stopped at a red light on a bike. I run into the back of you at say 25mph. Not very fast at all. For me in the car I probably have zero injuries and I'm in the gym the next day. You on the bike on the other hand it's a whole different story. Your out of the gym for months possibly forever simply because you thought you could trust every dick head on the road.

Now I realize people get hurt and killed in car accidents all the time. But the fact remains, a minor car accident with few injuries would mean severe injuries and possibly death on a bike.

Fuck being out of the gym for six months because some dumb bitch was taking a selfie while she smashed into the back of you. Personally my love for the gym is far stronger than a fucken bike.

It's just a risk that everyone has to take...
Indeed they are dangerous and people are dumb ass shit cause unless you are close the person in the car can not see you in the rear view.. blind spots per say.. been cut off and been in accidents...
Reason I don't have one anymore cause it's just not worth riding for a couple months here and then having to store it cause of winter

Point in fact you're absolutely wrong. It's not a risk that everyone has to take. I'm not taking that risk.

Don't get me wrong though, if I had my own personal race track I'd have a garage full of bikes. I think bikes are bad ass. I'd love to rip around a track on one. But out in public with all the dumb fuck, depressed, heavily medicated, social media assholes driving around, no fucking way am I going out on that street with my body exposed to these assholes driving around in 2 ton cars. Fuck that.

But putting chems into our bodies is a choice and can be prevented by ONESELF.

                        a bike? Can't control others....

Exactly what Rado said. Read slowly. You are putting your life into the hands of EVERYONE on the street. You are exposing your body to every fucken retard, druggie, fuck up, texting dick head etc.. driving around in a 2 ton vehicle, while you sit there with no protection at all.

There is a difference between everyday risk and actually going out of your way to temp risk.
