This is a tough topic.
On the one hand you have rich gaspari and lee haney that would have absolutely murdered rich in a bodybuilding competition in their prime.
On the other hand it's hard to get that point across in a video where gaspari looks like a pile of shit and Rich looks huge. So in that regard I get what you are saying about "hating".
I don't think it's hate. I just think it's the old school guys frustrated with the direction bodybuilding is going.
I mean for fuck sake bro, blahah and Genova have a bodybuilding crowd following. That's the world we live in.. -

Hard to believe Rich is 6'1.. he looks smaller in height, yet he sitting down half of the time in his channel

it's no competition bro. Gaspari was one of the best pro's in the world. Rich never became a pro. It's easy to take 2 pics and put them side by side but you would have seen the difference had they ever stood next to each other on stage. no competition.
i believe rich is 6'1. he's taller than most people in his videos at expos etc..Comment

And Gaspari was a hellavu lot shorter... You think it's easier for a short guy to build mass than a taller guy?..
In my young ages I was always an ectomorph, but come late twenties I started becoming more mesamorph per say and always have the stocky built..

for sure, shorter guys build muscle easier. lee priest looked amazing at like age 13.
BUT. that comes with a downside. they max out quickly. so when you put a prime Lee Priest next to a taller top pro Lee disappeared. he literally looked like he didn't lift when he stood next to ronnie in his prime.
if there was 212lb class for the Mr.O like there is today Lee would be a multiple time Mr O no question.Comment

We can get fat easier cause of the short torso.. Gut city... I see some of these short stocky guys at my gym.. Big arms rounded shoulders.. look good in a short until they take it off.. gut all over the place...
