  • Christmas shopping

Do you get it done early ? or wait to the last minute.

I don't even THINK about it untill about December 15 or so. I always have something I am looking for on Christmas Eve.

It kinda adds to the excitement.

I like to do the bulk of my shopping two or three days before Christmas....when the mall is more like a battlefield. I enjoy fighting it out in the trenches...cutting a wide swath through the gaggles of idiots chattering and clogging the aisles. It's a form of therapy for me, going to war at the mall.

I'm usually done early with just a few odds and ends to get near the 20th. This year I'm way behind. I don't like shopping after the 20th because often I can't find what I want as store stock gets low.

It's become tradition for Stromba to shop on Christmas Eve, come home, and then hide out in the bedroom while he tries to wrap the items. He's askin me where the paper is, tape, scissors, etc. then won't let me in the room for what seems like hours. Last year I made it easy for him and got gift bags and tissue paper. LOL Me on the other hand, have had his gifts wrapped uo and sitting under the tree for a couple of weeks. We're so opposite when it comes to gifts.

I am one of those weird people that hate to shop especially with crowds, so I wait till the last minute. It's more stressful that way, but the holidays are strenuous regardless.
