If they wanted to go against government they would attack police stations and government buildings. Every one of the 911 planes would have attacked Washington if that's what they really wanted. You don't kill people you don't hate plain and simple. They hate Western laws that don't conform to Sharia and the people that chose not to on their own.

Waco was straight up crazies vs cops and was stopped right there.

They were misguided by the Holy Quran and other books of religion. Not just Muslims, but Christians,buddhist etc.. different actions.. they are all brain wash. I wouldn't want to believe a Man made book anyhow

I don't think scrum has ever said they were justified. He has only made the argument that their reasoning is not religious rather an act of retribution. And while I feel retribution is certainly an aspect, they would not be able to justify it in their own minds without the extreme religious underpinnings. If there were no justifications in their teachings of getting a room full of virgins for dying for jihad etc they would have a better moral compass than to kill civilians.

ISIS says "a soldier of the caliphate planted bombs in the middle of Crusaders gatherings" then detonated them. It did not say whether the attacker was killed.

The group claimed that "30 Crusaders were killed and 70 others were wounded," higher than the totals confirmed by authorities in Manchester.

Terminology from the attackers such as "crusaders" and "caliphate" would suggest it is religious reasoning and not a retaliation for government atrocities.

He's never condoned terrorism let's be clear. But he has tried to justify it in a round a bout way.

He's pointed to the fact that terrorist do these things because our governments occupy their countries and kill their civilians.

But I point to the fact that it is not our civilians that are killing their civilians. It is our governments. So his justification in my mind is completely irrelevant.

Terrorists in most cases go after civilians and they do it in the name of God. The irony of that should be clear for all to see. There is no defense for these people.

Obama was no saint. I have always been consistent in criticizing Obama for his drone strikes. I can go back and find my posts on that if you like.

And while it is grotesque that we are selling $110B worth of weapons to the Saudis so that they can carry on their genocide against Yemen, we certainly armed a lot of rogues under every administration.
