So I use to do MMA... Actually did Pro for awhile for a small promotion in german, but I have not stepped in a cage since 2012... due to the fact I suffered a hematoma in my right arm and it hasn't been the same since.. guess the tear in the bicep has made it looked different than the left bi.. anyways I was invited to go to kickboxing today @ 11... figure I get back and get my agility and flexibility back.. also it burns good amount of fat... I'm bout to weight lift now and skip the cardio.. it will be about a 3 hour break between lifting and going to kickboxing..

Think it's wise or just not go to kickboxing and let my muscles rest

If it's something you do every once in awhile it'll be fine. But no way will you be able to do both at a high intensity level in the same day at a consistent rate. Your training will probably suffer after awhile due to physical exhaustion. But again I'm talking about if your doing both like 5-6 days a week and your trying to do both at a high intensity level. If it's something your doing here and there it's fine.

I decided to go on weds on my off day.. I was done with the gym at 10 and the kickbox would be at 11... no way I was able to do this... maybe so, but I won't let my traning suffer...
Did 20 mins of cardio after my weight lifting

Even then I'm kind of conflicted. Your weight training 6 days a week and on your only rest day your kickboxing.

Personally I would feel overtrained. Remember the golden rule bro, we grow outside the gym. So if your goal is size I don't think not having a real rest day is going to help you. I think it will probably make you more "fit" and improve your cardio level but I also think gains will suffer.

I understand for sure.. as I was thinking this as well because I'm going for size/recomp and I don't want my gainz hinder... I might just have to take 2 full days off... kickboxing will just be once a week or twice a month

Boxing and Grappling were my thing... I don't roll no more because I'm afraid of my disc

Ok...so what belt did you achieve?

I've got my Brown in Bjj as to why I asked. I've competed many times and last tournament was in '14

No belt..never rolled with a GI.. I started grappling and kickboxing in 2010.. Boxing was nature since I trained in my early 20's...Feel in love with grappling...
Had a coach who got his Brown Belt by Eddie bravo, But dude went back to the states...
Trust me it's not hard to go Pro in germany
