Caught some small gravel and there I went flying off my bike. And mind you I was only going about 40mph.

Cracked my crankcase and hit the rail. Chipped my hips, rash and scared me enough that I was done.
    Damn that's crazy.

Yup it will. There are two kinds of riders out there.
Ones that crashed. And ones that are going to crash. Lol.
Broke both hands, tore rotator cuff and micro bicep tendon tear and deep lacerations on both legs.
If I didn't have my gear would've been dead for sure. Or I'd be a vegetable without a face and arms.
        .

But even after all that. I'm going to pick one of these in a week or two. I got the riding itch again and I have to scratch it. Lol

Still trying to decide between Suzuki or the Yamaha. Both are 650cc with more than enough power.

Y'all Gona make me buy a bike again...

With my cbr I got cut off by a van as I was Tryon to pass cause I was in a group....Van kept steering my way.. I panicked and locked both brakes fish tail and made a hard stoppy that the bike flipped over on me... landed on my head... luckily I had my gear on...
Bike just had a scratched and replaced the tires

Chuck, take a Motorcycle Safety Foundation class. It's a morning or an afternoon on a weekend, but you'll get a break on insurance and you don't have to take a riding test at the DMV to get a motorcycle endorsement on your license.

And oh yeah, get decent clothes. Leather is good, but pants and a jacket at the minimum. Don't be one of those organ donors riding their crotch rockets in t-shirt and shorts.

Yeah if I decide to go for it I'm definitely taking a class.

It's not dedication chuck, I just don't get scared from falls or pain. There are tons threads on the forum about my falls and carnage lol. Why do you think bouncer, ripper and scrum keeps posting about people crashing and tagging me? :D
I'm pretty sure between snowboarding and mountain biking I've taken couple of hundred hard falls. Lol.
I just get up dust off and get back on the horse.

Beast is our own lovable crash test dummy. If it can move, Beast has been on it and fallen off it.

Well duck me my homie just crashed Friday night he's on life support now. I know 3 people that have died with in the last 12 months on bikes. None of them rookies either. I hate to say but this recent one might have been so to a rookie but not sure nor does it matter right now.
Everyone be safe I ride like a nut I can't help it but I've been lucky so far

                            Sorry to hear it.

This is exactly why I would never own a bike unless I had my own track or lived in the desert or some shit. No matter how responsible of a rider you are, you are always at the mercy of all the dumb fucks driving around texting etc in their 2 ton cars. Bikes always lose that battle.
