Ford is too tall for competition. No matter how big and impressive in the gym he looks his limbs are way too long for the stage. Even with 25 inch arms they still too small compared to the length of his arms. Same with his legs.

In the gym he would make Phil Heath look like a little bitch but on stage heath would kill him. Weird how that works.

Martyn is a true freak but on stage he'd look lanky and skinny.

Take Lou Ferrigno comeback in 94 for example. He was 340 on stage but at 6'4 he looked oddly skinny next to Dorian in a bunch of poses. Yet people say in person or in the gym he was the biggest human they ever saw. Martyn is even taller.

6'1 like Arnold was or Cedric is now is about the tallest you can be without looking lanky on stage when standing next to other monsters.
