The industry turned HIV from a death sentence to a disease state that is easier tonmanage than diabetes. Just for an example. I can find good and bad in the industry, just like anything else.
Most of the money is made in maintenance medications. People want to take a pill to fix their problems, not exercise and eat correctly. The people can't blame the industry when the demand for a "quick" fix is the American way. The users are just as much to blame as the manufacturer.
