So last year, a guy I used to work with called me up and had just really fucked up his life. He said he needed a place to stay just for a little while, etc. You know the story. Mother fucker was homeless in fucking Mexico. I let him come to my house; didn't charge him rent and helped him find a job. Problem was the job was in NY (I am in NC). I loaned him a few thousand to pay first months rent and shit and we drew up a contract for repayment of the loan out of his monthly check. He sent the first payment and then disappeared. He apparently got fired from the new job in like a month so I have no way to trace him. On top of that, we got a phone bill after he left with fucking $3000 of international charges he ran up talking with some puta in Mexico. Motherfucker owes me like 7 grand.
I found what I think is his mother's address in long beach, CA so I am sending a certified letter asking to be repaid. I'll wait a month and send another certified letter. My tax guy said I could use the Cert. letters to claim it as a loss on my taxes so at least that's something. I will also see if I can take that contract to the police and see if I can get a warrant put out for felony fraud/theft. Next time that fucker gets pulled over for a traffic stop, he'll be arrested.
Oh, BTW, his name is Gregory Jason Mahone. He is black, in his late 30's, 6'3 and about 165 lbs with very close cropped hair. Dude's so skinny it makes my stomach ache just looking at him.
