No. If you've had chickenpox, you never get rid of the virus. It lies dormant in your body, and for whatever reason, it can flare up as the shingles. Nothing much you can do about it, but if you catch it early, antiviral meds help.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostIs that something you catch? Don't know anything about it.
Basically I ache all over, my skin feels super sensitive to the touch, like I've burned it on a skillet, and I've got blisters all over my arm. Sucks.

Few days to a week for healthy people. Maybe never for the elderly feeble population.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostYea I had chicken pox when I was like 6-7. The Anabolics will probably fight off this disease though. :D
How long is the expected recovery time?
Traps will be in soon with a great natural remedy.

But as far as the weekend goes, my daughter came home for the first time from college. She's home till Tuesday so I'm trying to hang with her but it seems like Dad is always last on the list of people to hang with....lol
Watching this Michigan - Michigan State game right now then tomorrow watching my DETROIT LIONS add another victory to the pile.... :)

Tell her you wanna take her to the BMW dealership and buy her a car. You'll be #1 on the hangout list.Originally posted by FrankTheTank55 View PostBut as far as the weekend goes, my daughter came home for the first time from college. She's going to a little school called Hope College in Holland Michigan. It's very close to Lake Michigan, very nice area. It's about 3 hours away. I really enjoyed the whole process of her picking a school. I loved going to all the different schools and seeing the campuses.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostWhere's she going to college, Frank? My son is in 12th grade and furiously filling out his college applications right now.
