    Lmao

Jokes aside, as a white guy and if I was a cop used to seeing black crime. I don't think I would view an Indian guy the same way I view a black guy.

Take Chicago for example, it's not Indians shooting each other, it's blacks. So I doubt I would profile you the same way I would as a black person. I'm not going to walk up to an Indian guy sitting in his car in the same way I approach a black dude with tinted windows, rims, etc.. I'm going to assume there is a good chance he has a weapon. I wouldn't assume that with an Indian.

My point being is that you refer to yourself as a "person of color" and that isn't wrong but it's not exactly the same as being a black guy either.

    Just being real.

The flip side of that.. if a black guy gets on the same airplane I'm on I'm not gonna be worried at all. But if a middle Eastern guy gets on the plane I have to admit my first thought is gonna be.. "I better keep my eye on this fella". It sounds racist but you can't deny statistics. Black dudes don't hijack planes, middle eastern people on the other hand.... That's what profiling is all about. It might be unfair but in many cases it's reality.

You can refuse the FIELD SOBRIETY test. That the test where they make you walk back and forth to see if you are wobbly. The reason to refuse this is that it is a bogus test that even most sober people will fail, and if the cop wants you to take it, he's already made up his mind that he's going to fail you.

Refusing the breathalyser is more problematic because that can result in loss of driving privileges, etc.

So, refuse the field sobriety test and ask to call a lawyer before going any further. The lawyer can help you decide how to deal with the breathalyser.

Of course, double check the laws in your jurisdiction.

Of course, but if they do stop you, it's good to know your rights and how to exercise them.

This test saved my ass! I got pulled over one time when I was about 21 and I was hammered. The cop made me do all these different things which I passed easily. He told me he knew I was drinking but since I passed to go straight home and not to drive anywhere else. I guarantee if I took a breathalyzer I would have been way over the limit and on my way to jail.
