Crete Greece

We will be flying to Crete which is an island outside of Greece in a couple of weeks... I have not flown in about 5 years so I am not looking forward for the flight

part of the world I've always wanted to visit. not only for its obvious beauty but for its amazing history. glad you are going to Crete instead of Santorini. I know few people that went to Santorini and said its beautiful but its an absolute tourist trap with no more of its original culture left. Crete is supposed to be more "real" for lack of a better word.

Santorini is overrated and is now considered the new "Ibiza... I got a room with beach balcony view and we are in the city area....
We wanted to go to Florida or Doha Qatar/Dubai/Abudabi , but the prices are just ridicolous @ the moment... plus I don't want to fly 10 hours [emoji6]

Looks beautiful. I really enjoyed Italy. Greece is definitely high on my list to visit, along with Spain and Portugal.

I don't think I would want to go to Spain right now. I see potential civil war in their future.

Yup I wouldn't want to be in Spain... been there few times... with my anger issues I would probably join the revolution and get killed on vacation
