Girls Now Allowed In Boy Scouts

What the fuck is going on? Girls now allowed in boy scouts? WTF is the point of the girl scouts now?

The Boy Scouts of America announced Wednesday that girls will soon be allowed to become Cub Scouts and to earn the coveted rank of Eagle Scout, the organization’s highest honor.

"We believe it is critical to evolve how our programs meet the needs of families interested in positive and lifelong experiences for their children," said Michael Surbaugh, chief executive of the Boy Scouts.

The boyscouts have had declining enrolment for years. They view this as an opportunity to boose enrolment by appealing to families who have two kids of different genders who could have both attend a single activity instead of two different ones. It's bottom line driven, people! Obviously the girl scouts are incensed at what they see as the boy scouts invading their territory.

By the way, if anyone thinks the boy scouts are dominated now by leftist thinking, they have no idea what the scouts are about. These guys are the most rah-rah hand on chest, salute the flag, organization around. They didn't let gay kids in until a couple of years ago. The only youth organization further right of the boy scouts is the Hitler Youth.

politics aside. there is definitely something going on. i think house1 (an old member) used to say pussification. I agree. I see more and more sissy type dudes every fucken day. not just in person but on tv. dudes are definitly becoming more feminine as a whole. that point was actually proven by something chuck posted a few months ago. the range of what doctors now consider normal levels of testosterone has been lowered compared to what it's been for years. On average, natty testosterone levels are lower in men today compared to 50 years ago.

Imagine telling someone in 1950 that girls would be allowed in the BOY scouts in the year 2017. They would have said in a John Wayne voice... "God damn fruitcakes"..

I remember being in the scouts early 80s as a kid. Back then it was ALL MALE'S. Camping trips the fathers would come and once all the kids went to sleep they would sit out by the fire having then a beer or two telling fish stories while the mothers stayed home. Around 8 years ago we signed my son up for scouts and it was dam near ran by women. I was very surprised but realized quickly it was only because of the lack of fathers involved in their kids life which is why the mothers had to step in. Some parents were divorced and in a few cases fathers just not wanting to get involved. These days they call that ANXIETY....I say bullshit but whatever.. SUX for the child but baby's are having baby's with no leadership what so ever. hey at least the mothers are letting their child experience the great scout life.

Yup. Somewhere along the line father's in America turned into scumbags. Obviously not all father's but a large percentage. Was just me and my mom until she met my step dad when I was 11-12.
