My new TV LG

I have LG as well. iv'e always had good luck with the brand. good tv. current tv is a few years old now. i bought it in new jersey. it's been in a moving truck from the east coast to chicago. and then from chicago to Cali. in other words its been bumped around to different houses and aparments and driven 3000 miles across the country and it still works like it did day one. still has a crisp, bright, and vibrant picture. it's only 1080p not 4k but there just isnt musch 4k content out there yet so I will probably wait till PS5 for the upgrade to 4k.

as for the sound bar. i listened to 4 different brands at costco and bose was the best sounding to my ears even though I have never like bose in the past. i read a lot of bad shit about them in the past but I gotta say, i've had the bose soundbar for 2-3 months now and i fucken love it.

QLED is the new thing now.. Saw one earlier for 3000 euros lol.. 65 inch tho and thin as fuck..

wait 2-3 years for QLED prices to drop like a stone. you'll be able to get a 65 inch QLED for $1200-$1500 in just a few years.

for example when i bought my 47 inch 1080p LCD it was $1200 and that was the average price at the time. the average price of a 47 inch 1080p LCD today is like $500 bucks. crazy how fast price drops in the tech world.

by the way bori. with one of my LG tv's in the past, i noticed in very dark movie scenes there was a sort of white spot in the upper left hand corner. you could only see it in dark scenes in movies and tv. i called LG and they had a guy come pick the tv up within 2 days and totally replace the display free of charge. they have a very good customer service at least in America because they have local repair shops or whatever. couldn't believe how fast they came and picked it up, fixed it, and returned it to me. no hassle for me whatsoever. they took care of everything.

so make sure you turn the lights out and watch some dark scenes on movies and look close for any of those white spot issues. mine was like a square 2 inch by 2 inch white box shape in the upper left hand corner. when i did some searches online at the time it was kind of common so check yours while your still in warranty and they will come fix that bitch faster then you can blink.

Not much for 4k content?.. You ever heard of the Xbox one scorpio/x.. the most power console with 6 teraflops and a graphics card that you can compare it to a 1080 GT graphics card (which cost about a grand the graphics card alone) and not to mention the 8-core CPU at 2.3GHz... and true native 4k which the Ps4 pro is not... shit they don't even have a 4k blueray player which is fucked up for the PS fans


No other console is coming close to the X... the only thing good about Sony is they have more exclusive's... but some are garbage.. , but I'm not bashing sony cause I like some of there exclusives...

You should get wolfenstein 2 and WW2 call of duty... the only reason why I don't buy it is because of German bureaucracy. They do not allow the swastika in the game which is the main symbol of the game.. so I wait till my boy buys it on the American side as we have our Xboxes linked

Yea I got 2 year warranty.. extra 100 for 5 years...

My first flat screen was an LG back in 2008 and my 2nd ex wife still has it...and it's in top condition

my point being, he can get a great fucken deal on a great tv that isn't the "latest and greatest" for like $500-$700 bucks. in a few years he can grab that current $3000 TV for like $1200. That would still be cheaper then buying the $3k set now that he really wont be able to get the most out of because of the lack of 4k content.

Well with movies you can watch ultra 4k on Netflix, but only a selective few, but I see your point if you not a gamer then it's no point for a Tru active HDR 4k... It's more for gaming and if you have a good Ultra HD 1080p TV.. then it's not really much of a difference with the panels if you watching I.e. cable or satellite...

I could of easily bought a 58inch for 549 dollars on base, but I went with a more expensive model as I mostly got it for my X..

I just want to watch The punisher series on this TV

Not compared to what they will be in a few years when there is actually 4k content to watch. It will literally be half the price and the 4k tech will be improved compared to now. Best of both worlds.
