the main reason i'm not interested in the switch on top of ps4 exclusives is that i'm really only interested in single player games. i don't like playing online games. i like to get lost in a game and just relax and play a game like assassins creed. you can't do that with multiplayer, you just run around in circles shooting each other. i did that shit with call of duty modern warfare 2 back in the day. it was great but that game changed everything and it was badass when it came out. but not much has changed since then. i'm just not interested.

i would take the xbox X just for ease of use comapred to a PC. you need to have a pretty expensive PC to match the power of the xbox X.

my issue with the X as i have said is that right now there are no games built from the ground up specifically for that powerhouse of a console. so your not going to see it's true potential for another year or so.

i'm glad the xbox X is out. competition is always good. sony pushed them to make a beast they probably wouldnt have otherwise, not for awhile longer anyway. but now since it's out sony will make a better console then they would have if the Xbox out wasn't out. so the real winners here are people who like to play games.

i play about 1 game every 4-5 months so it's not important to me to upgrade to the latest. i'm more of a playstation guy simply because my parents bought me a ps2 when it came out when i was in 9th or 10th grade and i've never had any other console besides a sony since then. so for me the choice is easy, stick with the ps4 until the ps5 comes out. especially considering how good standard ps4 games are looking right now. i keep saying it but games like horizon zero dawn and assassins creed origins looks absolutley stunning on a basic PS4. if i'm still sitting there during games saying to myself "damn this looks fucken amazing" that's a pretty good sign that the ps4 is still holding it's own.

If you want a console, PS4 for sure need to be your choice. Motives are simple and logic. All X-Box games from the 2016 came to PC, so you can play X-Box games on Windows 10 x64. But, PS4 exclusives never came to PC(Uncharted, The last of Us, Heavy Rain, Horizon Zero Dawn etc). Overall, I hate the PS4 too because of greed. For me PC is the best and most comfortable platform, and prices on the Steam much human-friendly(especially on sale time LOL). Also PS4 shit as example on GTA5, if you wanna play online, pay subscription PS Plus..... WHAT? Really Sony? I have bought the game on PC, and I play online for free, why I need to pay for online playing using this motherfucking devil-box.

Looks like I’m stuck on ps4 for now. Guy backed out on buying my ps4. I’m not going to use eBay and pay the fees. I still like Xbox controller much better.

I would go X if I had a 4k tv. Just want an S because they are so cheap and it has been a long time since I had an Xbox. Will probably sell the ps4.

Do you have a 4k HDR tv?

Make sure you go to settings<display&sound<video output<advanced settings

And make sure Every thing is checked mark in green!! And if not you got to go to your HDR settings on your TV..

Not sure which one you have, but I had to go on youtube for my model to have the enhanced/HDR effects..

Even on a 1080p TV it will look good as it will just turn it into super sampling

The S is pretty nice, smaller than the original and it even has a 4k blue ray player... The X is way smaller
