  • Cosco chicken saussage is...

    GOOD!

I picked up a package the other day and made it last night when some friends were over. Everyone liked it and there were no left overs. They had 2 kinds...I made the spinach one last night...can't wait to try the other one!

I threw out the package info. on the spinach one and this other saussage is a different brand and pre-cooked, but here's the info.:

Casual Gourmet - Red Bell Pepper & Basil Chicken Saussage
                (pre-cooked, just heat & serve)

                Servings Per Container 12

                Callories 110
                Cal. from fat 25
                Total Fat 2.5g
                Sodium 640mg
                Total Carbs. 1g
                Protein 19g

Ingredients: Chicken, red peppers, water, salt, flavorings, basil, garlic, sodium nitrate, in a pork casing.

Easy to prepare stuff like this is great to snack on when friends come over as opposed to a lot of the usual junk foods and cold cuts. We also had fresh mozzerella balls (2 kinds...packaged in water and marinated in olive oil, garlic, sundried tomato's, and basil), spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli's, bruschetta, semolina bread, mixed mediteranian olives, and a few cheeses.

I had bruschetta and mozzerella for breakfast, my breath smells lovely. :D

Doesn't everything come in a big pack from there? It was a double pack, but it was also fresh so you could freeze it in smaller portions.
