just think about that for a minute. you are denied what should be a basic human right.

back when people only had spears or swords as weapons, you would have been allowed a weapon of equal power to defend yourself.

today, your government tells you that you don't have the right to defend yourself even if someone kicks in your door with a gun they smuggled into the country. police are responders. they respond to an event that has already happened. they cannot be there to prevent these situations in progress.

yet at the same time, people of wealth or politicians in Germany are allowed to have armed security including Merkel.

in other words, the rich and powerful consider their lives far more important than the average German citizen. sad shit. they are fucken hypocrites.

Even if it's just a basic pump action shotgun. Say your a hunter and get one. Load it up with buckshot (not slugs because they will blow through like 10 walls.) Not a good thing in an apartment. Lol.

not about having and "interest", more about the ability to defend your family and home IF something horrible happens. No matter how strong we are we have zero chance against an intruder with a gun.
