Had my 1st buffalo and deer meat there, didn't Like it very much due to the taste.

Just seemed to have a very strong taste.

its like hamburger without the good flavor IMO. I've had it a bunch of times. never thought it was great. tell you what it great that I used to have all the time in south jersey. Ostrich meat believe it or not. local sandwhich shop used to do this ostrich steak and serve it just like a philly cheese steak except it had BBQ sauce on it. it's also very lean but the flavor is better and unlike any other kind of protein i've ever had.

you probably right but growing up with that term this is what defined "game" flavor to me... anything that has that blood/mineral taste. the number 1 thing I can think of is liver. my step dad was from Canada and he love liver and onions. just walking into the house smelling that shit in the air made me gag.
