If his insurance has a max out of pocket he only has to pay what that is....which every major medical has. If he doesn't have major med then he could be responsible for almost all of it depending on his policies benefit. We know he is an entrepreneur and not sure if he has staff and got a plan for his company which would probably be pretty good insurance if he did. As an individual getting a plan your choices run the gamut.

Exp: life, health, and annuity license for over a decade. If you have a question ask away....rado is on point though
