I don't have a problem...you stated most of the straws ended up in our water ways. Even if it's not "most straws". Even if it's 10% that's still a big problem. I've seen pictures of huge floating plastic trash in the oceans etc..

We have 1 planet. Keeping it clean is not a bad thing. Threatening, fining, and jailing people just trying to get by is not the answer.
