And ya wonder why they are going broke?

I had to send my Binos back to the factory for warrantee work.
I box them up and go to PO to ship out. The lady is like..regular mail six day delivery $11.35....or sir you can ship it two day priority for $11.75:wack: No fucking brainer...no wonder why they are going broke...

That and their tracking software is shit. It takes 12 extra hours for them to notate something as delivered when I already have it in hand. Or it will sit as “received for processing” for a week and then “delivered” without any updates along the way. No consumer would enjoy that experience.

usps tracking has actually improved a lot the last few years. UPS and FedEx tracking used to light years ahead. but the last few years they are almost as good tracking wise.

price thing is retarded though. that's the government for ya.

But UPS would have been $20, so don’t knock the USPS too much.

In other countries, post offices offer banking, insurance and other services. This is actually very useful and cost effective and earns the postal service valuable revenue.

We of course have decided, by law, that our post offices will not offer these services. This is primarily due to lobbying by the banking and insurance industries.

You are absolutely correct. One of my German bank accounts is also a major post office company!!
