          Funny stuff.

          Serious question/observation though.

With such a failure from the FBI and Police with this recent shooting from failing to act on calls and tips to the police hiding behind their cars instead of protecting the students... How the fuck can anyone seriously suggest that Americans should give up their firearms and depend only on the authorities to protect us? Blows me away how gullible some people are, they wouldn't realize how clueless they are until the very moment something like this happens and they realize nobody is coming to help them and they are on their own. Everything they thought they believed in would come crashing down. Disarming and depending on incompetent authorities for safety is unbelievably stupid.

Scrum, I'd be interested in you're thoughts on this based on your opinion of LE in general. You're clearly anti gun which is fine because you have a right to your opinion. But you must have some conflict here because you clearly don't trust the police either and who could blame you after this recent shooting. So my question to you is this. In a country full of dangerous criminals with all sorts of weapons that aren't going anywhere, would you advocate law abiding citizens give up their guns and instead put their trust in police for protection and safety?

I just rejoined the NRA for 5 years after my 5 year hiatus. Getting really sick of them taking the blame for this and all these companies getting political and dropping them.

merging them at this point would confuse things even more. the part where certain threads start and others begin people would be fucken lost.

but i agree. no need for more gun threads.
