Despite what some people may think (scrum).. I am not some blind right wing nut. I'm all about common sense politics whichever party they come from.
Back to the point.. I'm a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment but the NRA is getting stupid and they are turning off a lot of gun owners. They are turning into a PETA like organization with an extremist like viewpoint. Some of their recent claims and attacks are kind of hard to defend.
They are also doing stupid shit like this and making even more enemies from people that didn't need to be enemies. For anyone that doesn't understand what the following link is about. The NRA is rewarding a man who is responsible for pushing internet slow lanes and fast lanes. Meaning in the future the Internet could turn into something like a cable package where you pay for access to netflix, amazon, and facebook. Then there will be an extra cost for other packaged deals like "news package" where all the news sites will be included. It would turn the internet from free an open to slow lanes and fast lanes. It's an absolutely horrible idea and the NRA is rewarding it. Brilliant.
