There’s a lot of data captured by proxy. If you have a friend who shares a photo or news article that voices any type of opinion and you just like it, or sometimes even click the link to read more, that behavior builds a profile for you. There is a way to see what your Facebook activity says about you.

And then you have the idiots who sync their phone data to their Facebook. I’m talking contacts, messages, apps, you name it.

well said, seems like this goes over many peoples head. they think it's just about facebook seeing your comments or pics etc.. it goes much much deeper. the baby boomers especially can't grasp it.

How the Senate's tech illiteracy saved Mark Zuckerberg

          https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/10/polit...sis/index.html

It was, to be blunt, like watching your grandfather try to understand how they got the internet onto your new Macbook Pro.

Here's one example -- via an exchange between Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and Zuckerberg:

Hatch: "How do you sustain a business model in which users don't pay for your service?"

          Zuckerberg: "Senator, we run ads."

          Awk-ward.

          lol

Just exemplifies the disconnect between the populace and our “representatives”.

            Guns
            Internet Privacy
            Security
            Drugs
            Etc

            They are dumbasses.

And Zuckerburg is a fucking scary robot. Booster seat Bob.

There should be lower max age limits on these dinosaur politicians. I think it should be something like 60 years old, Maximum. They are so out of touch with reality and need to take afternoon naps.

These old relics of the past should not be our leaders.
