What personal info do people have on their FB page? Credit card info? Bank accounts? Naked pictures of themselves?

nah chadd it's a deeper issue. when they know what you like and who you agree with they can target you with propaganda and slowly shape your opinion by feeding you news stories they know you will like. most people are followers by nature so it's not hard for these algorithms to lead people in a direction they want them to go. the more news you see that you agree with while being blocked from the news you disagree with you tend to get more extreme in your viewpoints. That's what is happening now with social media and division in the country. it may not seem like a big issue on the surface but it's very dangerous. people aren't getting an even viewpoint anymore, they are being fed perspectives.

They even have the list of every single phone call you made and text you ever sent.

If you only log into FB using a computer and don't include any personal information, you may be ok, but apparently, the FB app on people's phones was getting phone call info from the cell phone itself. I saw people posting their FB data that they had obtained from FB and it had a list of every call you made, to whom, how long you spoke, etc. That's just BS.

I have hated Facebook since it's inception. NEVER would I create an account on that bullshit site.

I don't have one. I've never trusted this social media stuff from the start. Now I'm glad I stayed away.

Have you given them your phone number and/or used the FB app on your cell phone?

The thing that scares me is how much Facebook has integrated itself into other online services. Way too many sites allow you to use facebook credentials to log in which means facebooks knows you use those services and may track that too. Whether it’s intentional or not.
