    California: This will be considered the new state which includes Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Monterey and San Benito counties.


    Southern California: San Diego, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, Mono, Madera, Inyo, Tulare, Fresno, Kings, Kern and Imperial counties.


    Northern California: This would include the Bay Area and the 31 remaining counties north of Sacramento.

        Just goes to show how divided Californians are. Cities and counties suing the state because they don't want any part of "sanctuary cities". People from other states think California is just one big liberal Illegal loving state but it's not the case. California is sharply divided and now you are seeing that division.

        This will never pass law but at least it shows that not all Californians agree with what's going on.

            You don't understand how something like this works. It's not just a matter of votes. It has to be approved on a federal level which won't happen. It has literally no chance of happening. It's more about making a statement.

                Bouncer has a good point here. Most people belive all of California is some extreme liberal place. It's so different and divided that this actually makes sense. The state of Southern Californian would for sure be Red/Republican. I've been saying this for quite some time here. The whole San Diego area along with Orange County is very conservative.

                4.5 Million Californians Voted for Trump.
