Nine killed in school stabbing

Nine students have been stabbed to death and 10 injured in a knife attack outside a school in northern China, officials say.

A man suspected of carrying out the attack is alleged to be a former student taking revenge for having been bullied at the school.

The assault took place near Mizhi County Number Three secondary school in Shaanxi province as the students were heading home for the day.

The suspect remains in custody.

Chinese police have given his surname as Zhao and say he is 28.

Their preliminary assessment is that he was motivated to take revenge because he was bullied in his third year (where students are typically aged 13-14).

I just think it's interesting that US media has no interest in this foreign school tragedy yet as soon as something happens in the US they will scream that this is only a US problem and these types of things never happen in any other country.

It's far too common in the US but at least report on these tragedies when they do happen outside the US. Hell just a few months ago a couple guys in china killed something like 100 people on a train with knives. Once again the US media has absolutely zero interest. Thus the general population in the US has no idea about it. It paints a false picture in peoples minds.

Here is a fact for you. More people have been killed with knives in a mass murder event in china in 2018 then have been killed in the US in a mass murder event with guns. Yet not a single person is running around saying china has a knife problem. Hypocrites with their heads in the sand is what they are. Only want to hear news that is convenient to their argument.
