For me it's about what I need. If I can do everything I need plus some with 25mb/s speed and get it for $50 a month than hell yeah I'm jumping on that deal.

If I wanted the absolute best I'd be looking at Google fiber. But they are only available in select areas.

google fiber is more expensive then that chart shows now but they are still the absolute speed king. nobody needs that kind of speed though. you could stream 4k 120fps streams to 50 tv screens and you'd still have room left. lol

Exactly. It is what you need or want vs. What I want and need.

You will never need 1000mb/s. It's overkill for what you need times 100.

Just trying to help ya bro. You're trying to argue over something you don't understand. You will never use 1000mb/s. You won't even come close.

To give you some perspective. A typical HD Netflix stream uses roughly 3-4mb/s. 3-4. Not 300-400. 3-4mb per second. And you think you need 1000mb per second. Lol

we've streamed netflix in HD to 2 tv's at the same time in my house and still had normal internet browsing speed on our phones/laptops. and that's with a 25mb/s internet connection.

you could spend a lot less and still have the same exact experience. a 1000mb/s connection will not load a webpage any faster then a 25mb/s internet connection. both will load instantly. it's not like the old days where we went from dial up to high speed. that was a drastic and obvious change in everyday Internet use. so i think you sort of have that kind of thing in your head.

the only time you would ever notice any difference between 25mb/s and 1000mb/s is if you tried to stream 5 HD movies to 5 different screens. that kind of thing is where you would notice 25mb/s struggle. for everyday internet use and streaming HD to 1 or 2 screens you will notice no difference at all. both will stream crystal clear movies and both will load anything you want on the Internet instantly.
