I doubt you ever see the military commercials because you are in Germany but I always think about this kind of thing when a military commercial comes on. they always make it seem like it a big fun game. they often try to appeal to gamers by showing tech like drones and people with controllers and they make it look like video games. they are praying on naive young minds who haven't experienced or aren't aware of pain, loss, and death. i have nothing against serving, i respect it 100%. but there is no doubt the tactics used in commercials and recruiting in general is not exactly honest.
