exactly. i admit there are things about trump that i like. particularly when it comes to things like nato in terms of how much the USA puts in vs the EU nations while they turn around and send money to the very enemies nato is meant to defend against. that whole situation is a joke.

having said that, his performance at this meeting may have been the weakest of his presidency. he gained absolutely nothing and made his image of a Russian puppet even worse.

i'm not so sure we got played. i think it was trump just trying to calm things down a bit from where they were. i don't think any reasonable person really believed kim was just going to hand over everything he worked so hard to obtain. it's a better situation then it was a year ago when you factor in the 2 koreas are are now on good speaking terms and we are no longer threating each other on a weekly bases.
