Even if they were saying you aren't safe from violence here, that statement is a fact of literally 100% of the land on this country!

Yea but the point is Chuck, the signs worded in a way that isn't clear. I'm by no means some easily offended sissy but even I didn't get it. Where I come from cupcake is slang for a fag. So I thought it was an anti gay sign.

Again they would have been better off just saying "if your easily offended this bar isn't for you". That's very clear and to the point. Would not have caused any drama.

          That's dumb.

Why would any business state something like that?

          "You may get murdered here".

Then you would come along and say "well it's true that anyone could be murdered anywhere". Lol.

If we are just talking about being free to say whatever you want, I guarantee the person who wrote that sign would be the first one to get upset if they said something to someone they didn’t like and got a smartass response back. It’s not a safe space for them either.

To add. People are alse free to say they don't like the sign. That's the exact amendment Chuck is saying is dead. Lol

Exactly it is dumb which is a testament to it not being about violence.

Thing is the words on that board are not bad enough to justify a company pulling out a business partnership and an employee likely getting fired over. If the employee wrote on that board gays are not welcome, or black people get out then fuck yeah fire the person. But just saying you can get offended here you pussy in much nicer terms? No this shit is going to far.

Agree there. People have a right to say "I don't like your sign" but people getting fired over shit and companies pulling about isn't about being offended. It's about virtue signaling.

So, one or two people got offended over a silly sign in a bar and now we're acting like the Country is going down the drain and that the 1st amendment is dead?

The current population of the USA is 325 Million people. 98% of us are not offended by this sign in the bar. Perspective guys, come on.

If you can't even say "no safe spaces here" at a fucking bar in Ohio of all places, without repercussions, then the problem is more widespread than you think. This growing push against the first amendment movement has been far more vocal than you think.

I may have misread the article or misunderstood it, but it sounds like nobody is stopping the bar from "saying" this. This is the free market at work. They can say it, and the snowflake who got offended by it can stop going there. Just like the company who didn't want to bake the cake for the gay couple. They can take their business elsewhere. Free market at work.

This is the free market at work. I thought this is what Republicans love? You don't want to do business somewhere for whatever reason then don't go there.

Let them display their sign and then let people choose whether or not they want to spend their money there and let them leave positive or negative yelp reviews over it.

I don't understand where I'm supposed to be outraged?
