help me identify a pill

A pill dropped out of my 18 yr old son's pocket as he rushed to get ready for work. It is black (possibly really dark green or blue so it looks black) and oblong shaped, like a caplet. Not a capsule and not a gel-cap but rather a solid pressed powder tablet shaped like a capsule. No markings and no scoring.

I am really worried about what it might be but I can't find a match using readily available on-line pill identifiers.

I've had it out with him over smoking weed but I never thought he would be stupid enough to get in to anything harsher.

Does anyone know of a street drug that looks like that?
