Took my daughter to try n get her first one. She managed to get two to the boat. Both under 6 1/2 ft. Both released
We saw a few either of us would of tagged but we couldn't get a hook in them..stand by....hopefully we can get a hook into a better one.

B, smaller ones we don't keep we fight them untill they are worn out. Get them up to the boat grab them how ever we can and fight with them untill we get them unwrapped. Then we get the hook out n release them.

How much meat on average do you get off of a keeper?

Depends on the size bro...both of those were leagle . But we want 8 ft or better. Last year I got a 10 ft..it was 240 got over 100 lbs easy

Sabrina got her 3rd gator last night.again 6 to 6 1/2 ft.could of easy gotten several more this size but we passed. We finally did hook up to a nice one in the 9 ft range after a short fight the hook pulled and it was over that sucked but that's hunting.. Will try again shortly....short video of her n fight

Released another last night again 6 ft range caught him by the toenail....lolo....watch video..... Also lost another good one...so far 4 caught n released n lost 2 we would of tagged in 3 trips...we gotta get a hook to stay in the big ones...
